Caliber Mining and Logistics' initial public offering closed with overwhelming demand, attracting subscriptions 146.64 times the size of the ₹450 crore issue on the final day of bidding.

Institutional investors drove the surge, with the Qualified Institutional Buyer (QIB) segment subscribing 240.71 times the available shares.

Non-institutional investors also showed strong interest, subscribing 267.36 times, while the retail segment saw a 41.15 times subscription.

The final-day spike marks a significant acceleration from the second day of bidding, when the offer had attracted bids worth 23.37 times the shares on offer.

The mining operator, which specializes in overburden removal, had previously secured ₹134.99 crore in anchor investor commitments ahead of the public offer opening on July 17.

The robust subscription levels suggest strong market confidence in the company's business model and growth prospects within the mining logistics sector.
