ESAF Small Finance Bank reported a net profit of ₹80 crore for the first quarter of fiscal 2027, marking a positive start to the financial year for the lender.
The result was underpinned by robust growth in secured lending and retail deposits, which helped drive the bank’s total business to ₹51,140 crore.
Peer Equitas Small Finance Bank recently returned to profitability with a ₹183 crore net profit for the same period, while Suryoday Small Finance Bank reported a 113% year-on-year jump in net profit to ₹75 crore.
Management attributed the performance to the successful execution of its strategic transformation plan, focusing on asset quality and deposit mobilization.
