Eurobank has repurchased 2,907,000 of its own shares between July 13 and July 17, 2026, the bank disclosed on Monday.

The transactions were executed on the Euronext Athens exchange as part of the lender’s ongoing capital return programme.

78 million, which Eurobank completed between July 6 and July 10.

This latest tranche follows a previous buyback of 2,273,500 shares worth €9.78 million, which Eurobank completed between July 6 and July 10.

The consecutive weekly repurchases signal the bank’s continued commitment to returning capital to shareholders amid stable liquidity conditions.

The activity mirrors broader trends in the Greek banking sector, where peers are also actively reducing share counts.

National Bank of Greece (NBG) recently acquired 675,000 shares between June 22 and June 29, marking another step in its own repurchase programme.
