Flux Power & Automation, a Ghanaian electrical engineering company, has launched a smart energy management system designed to help businesses and institutions monitor their electricity consumption in real time.
The platform aims to identify inefficiencies, reduce waste, and lower operational costs for commercial users across the country.
The launch comes as Ghana’s power sector navigates ongoing infrastructure challenges.
Residents in the Ashanti Region, including Kumasi, are currently facing intermittent outages due to planned transmission line upgrades by GRIDCo.
While these disruptions are temporary, they highlight the broader need for reliable energy monitoring and cost control among commercial operators.
Flux Power’s system allows users to track usage patterns and optimize energy distribution, potentially mitigating the financial impact of volatile power costs.
