Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel unveiled the framework in Gandhinagar, highlighting central government approval for a Mega Greenfield Shipbuilding Cluster at Kuchhadi as a cornerstone of the initiative.

It builds on earlier expressions of interest for three new greenfield shipyards and six additional facilities, aiming to position the state as a primary hub for vessel construction and repair.
