Handelsavisen has updated its proprietary thesis on Relx PLC (RELX.K) following an internal audit of sector classification data.

The revision stems from a sector-fix batch process that identified contamination in the previous GICS-direct path analysis, necessitating a re-evaluation of the company's fundamental positioning.

The re-analysis, completed on July 13, 2026, resulted in a revised composite score of 69.17 out of 100 for the London-listed information services group.

This adjustment reflects a more accurate alignment of Relx’s business segments with industry benchmarks, correcting prior misclassifications that may have skewed risk and valuation metrics.

The update is part of a broader data integrity initiative by Handelsavisen to ensure that sector-specific factors are correctly applied in its company scoring models.

For Relx, this means that future comparisons with peers in the information services sector will now be based on a cleaner, more precise dataset.
