The Israel Defense Forces announced on Sunday that it has mapped and prepared to demolish the homes of two Palestinians accused of carrying out a fatal shooting attack in the West Bank on Friday.

The military stated that the structures, located in the village of Tel, will be sealed and destroyed as part of its response to the violence.

The attack resulted in the deaths of 27-year-old Major Yuval Ezra and 32-year-old Chief Sergeant First Class (res.) Benayahu Melet.

The IDF confirmed that the two individuals identified as the perpetrators were responsible for the incident, which has further escalated tensions in the area.

This development comes amid a significant ramp-up in Israeli military operations across multiple fronts over the past week.

The IDF has been targeting smuggling networks and dismantling what it describes as terrorist infrastructure, with reports indicating increased activity in the West Bank.
