India Gold Metaverse has secured ₹300 crore in funding from private equity investors and secondary placements to develop integrated digital infrastructure for the gold economy.

The company stated the capital will accelerate platform development, expand its ecosystem, and deepen strategic partnerships to build scalable digital solutions.

The investment underscores a broader shift toward digitizing India's massive gold market, where physical ownership traditionally dominates.

By raising significant private equity, India Gold Metaverse aims to bridge the gap between physical gold assets and digital trading platforms, a sector that has seen increasing regulatory and technological scrutiny in recent years.

This development arrives as other players in the Indian gold sector seek capital markets exposure.

Master Chains N Jewels Ltd recently filed preliminary documents with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) for an initial public offering, aiming to raise ₹400 crore.
