Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has intercepted four vessels attempting to pass through the Strait of Hormuz without authorization, according to a report by TASS.
The military unit stated that the ships were supported by the US military, marking a further intensification of direct confrontations in the critical waterway.

Earlier this week, the IRGC declared the Strait of Hormuz closed to all maritime traffic, a move that has already triggered significant repricing in oil markets.

This development follows a series of escalations, including the IRGC firing warning shots at two other vessels and claims that two oil tankers hit mines in the region.
