Jammu & Kashmir Bank reported a net profit of ₹424.18 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, marking a recovery in earnings momentum for the regional lender.

The result was underpinned by a 2% increase in net interest income, which rose to ₹1,497 crore from ₹1,465 crore in the same period last year.

The financial performance coincides with a significant milestone in the bank's balance sheet: total business has surpassed the ₹3 trillion mark for the first quarter of the current fiscal year.

This growth occurred despite ongoing pressures on net interest margins, highlighting the bank's ability to leverage volume expansion to offset pricing headwinds.

The financial performance coincides with a significant milestone in the bank's balance sheet: total business has surpassed the ₹3 trillion mark for the first quarter of the current fiscal year.

This expansion was driven primarily by a robust growth in the deposit base, providing the lender with a stable funding foundation to support its lending activities.

The surge in advances and deposits suggests that the bank is successfully capturing market share in its core operating regions.
