Jio Financial Services Ltd reported a consolidated net profit of ₹830 crore for the first quarter of fiscal 2027, a 156% year-on-year increase from ₹325 crore in the same period last year.

The result also marked a 205% sequential jump from the preceding quarter, underscoring accelerating momentum in the company's lending and wealth management operations.

The profit surge was fueled by robust growth in interest income and fee-based revenue streams.

Assets under management (AUM) expanded significantly, rising 2.6 times to ₹30,667 crore as of June 2026, compared to ₹11,665 crore a year earlier.

This expansion highlights the company's success in scaling its balance sheet and deepening customer engagement across its financial services portfolio.

Despite the strong fundamental performance, Jio Financial Services shares traded lower on Thursday, declining 0.36% on the National Stock Exchange.
