Karnataka Bank reported a 43.28% year-on-year increase in net profit for the first quarter of fiscal 2027, reaching ₹418.95 crore.

The figure marks a significant acceleration from the ₹292.40 crore recorded in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year, according to data from Hindu Businessline.

State-owned Canara Bank, for instance, posted a more modest 2% rise in net profit to ₹4,856 crore, while Indian Bank saw a 10% increase.
