Kazakhstan’s national oil company, Kazenergy, has warned that continued drone attacks on oil tankers near the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) marine terminal in the Black Sea could force the country to revise its oil export and production targets.
The association emphasized that international coordination is urgently required to safeguard civilian shipping and protect cross-border energy infrastructure.
The warning comes amid a series of strikes on vessels loading crude at the CPC terminal.
Kazakhstan’s Energy Ministry previously confirmed that the oil tanker Nelsa was hit by a drone at the facility.
Reports indicate that four tankers have been struck over a four-day period, targeting vessels transporting crude from the region.
These incidents have raised concerns about the security of one of Kazakhstan’s primary export routes.
