Live Nation Norway reported a dramatic surge in annual revenue, with top-line figures reaching NOK 819 million last year.

This represents a doubling of income compared to the NOK 406 million recorded in the previous year, marking a significant expansion for the market leader in the Norwegian live events space.

Morten Valestrand, head of Live Nation Norway, described the period as one of intense activity, noting that the company executed a high volume of major events.

The revenue jump was largely fueled by a slate of high-profile international tours, most notably a performance by rock giants AC/DC, which helped drive ticket sales and ancillary revenue to record levels.

The strong financial performance underscores the resilience of the live entertainment sector in Norway, even as broader macroeconomic conditions remain complex.

While Norges Bank has recently escalated its foreign exchange interventions, tripling daily net purchases of kroner to NOK 524 million to manage currency volatility, consumer spending on premium experiences like live concerts appears to have remained robust.
