Magyar Bank Holding (MBH) is extending its pre-financing services for European Union agricultural subsidies, allowing farmers to access funds for the 2028 support cycle ahead of official disbursements.
The Hungarian lender announced the expansion of its AgrárPartner Platform, which now covers additional subsidy types and introduces fully online application processing to accelerate fund distribution.
MBH recently oversubscribed its international bond issuance, recording an additional €500 million in orders from overseas investors.
The move positions MBH to capture a larger share of the agricultural lending market by reducing the cash-flow gap for farmers waiting for EU grants.
By offering pre-financing for the 2028 cycle, the bank is effectively front-running the administrative timeline of the Common Agricultural Policy, providing liquidity to agribusinesses weeks or months before standard government payouts occur.
This product expansion follows a period of strong capital market activity for the group.
