Gold prices in Nepal’s domestic market rose on Monday, marking a continued upward trend for the precious metal in Kathmandu.
The price of gold increased by Rs 1,900 per tola (11.66 grams) compared to Friday’s closing levels, according to local market reports.
Silver prices also posted gains in the session, tracking the broader strength in precious metals.
The latest increase follows a significant rally earlier in the week.
On Friday, gold prices in Nepal climbed sharply, gaining Rs 7,200 per tola to reach Rs 290,700.
That session saw sustained buying interest, pushing the metal to multi-week highs.
