The policy push arrives as domestic LPG prices show signs of stabilization.
Recent data indicates that cooking gas prices in Abuja have fallen to N1,498 per kilogram, a notable decline from the recent peak of N2,000/kg.
This price correction suggests a short-term easing of supply-side pressures that had previously strained household budgets and small-scale commercial users.
Government officials have indicated that the expansion of grassroots distribution networks is expected to further suppress retail prices by improving market penetration and reducing logistical bottlenecks.
