Nvidia has officially inaugurated its new research and development center in Beersheva, Israel, marking the completion of its relocation to larger premises in the city.
The facility, located in the Gav Yam High-Tech Park, spans approximately 3,000 square meters and serves as a hub for the company’s growing engineering operations in the region.
The expansion reinforces Nvidia’s deepening ties to Israel, where it now employs more than 6,000 people across five R&D centers.
This workforce represents one of the largest private-sector tech employments in the country, highlighting the strategic value of Israeli talent to Nvidia’s global innovation pipeline.
The announcement comes as the semiconductor sector faces mixed signals.
While Nvidia recently rallied on news of a new chip designed for personal computers, the broader industry has seen significant volatility, with the sector selling off sharply in recent sessions.
