Orkim Bhd has entered into a memorandum of agreement to acquire a second tanker in 2026, bringing its total fleet size to 20 vessels.

The Malaysian marine transportation company announced the deal through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Orkim Ambition Sdn Bhd, which signed the agreement with Hong Kong-based Allcontinents.

The new asset is an IMO Type II tanker, designed to handle clean petroleum products and chemical cargoes, strengthening the group's operational footprint in regional trade lanes.
