A Polish defense expert has assessed that the object which struck the village of Tarnawa-Kolonia was likely a Russian maneuverable missile equipped with a warhead that lost its trajectory and crossed into Polish territory.
Maksymilian Dura, a reserve lieutenant commander and analyst for Defence24, told TVN24 that the debris field suggests the projectile was not merely a spent booster or accidental fragment, but a weapon system that veered off course during flight.
