Raiz Invest has reported a significant expansion in its asset base, with funds under management (FUM) rising 27.5% year-on-year to reach $2.32 billion.

The micro-investing platform also disclosed that its active customer base has grown to 351,362, underscoring continued adoption of its fractional investment model in the Australian market.

The growth figures coincide with a strategic pivot under new leadership.

Incoming chief executive Craig Keary has placed mergers and acquisitions at the center of the company’s growth agenda, moving beyond organic user acquisition to pursue inorganic scale.

This marks a distinct shift in strategy for the fintech firm, which has historically relied on digital marketing and product innovation to drive its user base.

The push for M&A aligns with broader trends in the financial technology sector, where consolidation is becoming a primary driver of market share.
