Reliance Industries reported a robust first quarter for fiscal 2027, with gross revenue jumping 25% year-on-year to ₹3.11 lakh crore.

The conglomerate’s performance exceeded street expectations, driven by a recovery in its oil-to-chemicals (O2C) segment and continued expansion in its digital services arm, Jio.

4% revenue increase reported by Reliance Retail in the same period, which reached ₹90,409 crore.

Profitability metrics also reached new highs.

EBITDA climbed to a record ₹47,517 crore, while profit after tax (PAT) before minority interests rose 6.1% to ₹23,196 crore.

The results underscore the resilience of Reliance’s diversified business model, with the O2C segment benefiting from stabilizing margins and Jio contributing through subscriber growth and data usage.

The strong top-line growth contrasts with the more modest 7.4% revenue increase reported by Reliance Retail in the same period, which reached ₹90,409 crore.
