Reliance Retail reported a 7.4% year-on-year increase in revenue for the first quarter of fiscal 2027, reaching ₹90,409 crore from ₹84,172 crore in the same period last year.

The growth was underpinned by double-digit underlying expansion across key segments, including Grocery, Consumer Electronics, and Fashion and Lifestyle.

The retailer also accelerated its physical footprint, opening 252 new stores during the quarter to bring its total network to 20,169 locations, up from 19,592 in Q1 FY26.

Digital commerce momentum remained a standout driver, with JioMart reporting that order volumes more than doubled compared to the prior year.

This surge in e-commerce activity complements the company’s broader strategy to integrate online and offline retail channels, leveraging its extensive store network for last-mile delivery and customer acquisition.

The results align with a broader trend of strength across Reliance Industries’ consumer-facing units.
