Former Commonwealth Games champion Sanele Mao has concluded his campaign at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games after competing in the men's +110kg weightlifting event. Mao was unable to register a successful lift, resulting in a Did Not Finish (DNF) outcome. Although the competition did not go his way, Mao remains one of Samoa's greatest weightlifters.
