Seanergy Maritime Holdings has listed its unsecured corporate bonds on the Fixed Income Market of Euronext Athens, following a successful issuance that raised net proceeds of approximately €95.6 million.
The listing marks a key liquidity milestone for the Greek shipping company, providing it with the capital necessary to execute its near-term investment strategy.
The funds raised will be deployed to finance the company’s investment programme, which includes the acquisition of newbuildings and high-quality second-hand vessels.
This capital injection allows Seanergy to expand its fleet capacity and optimize its asset mix without relying solely on internal cash flows or bank debt, a strategic move in a sector where financing costs remain elevated.
The bond offering, which was more than twice oversubscribed, underscores strong investor appetite for Greek shipping debt.
The successful debut public bond offering on the Athens Stock Exchange highlights the resilience of the dry bulk sector and the confidence institutional investors have in Seanergy’s operational outlook.
