Sigma Advanced Systems Ltd has agreed to acquire Bromford Precision Solutions, a UK-based aerospace manufacturer, for ₹153 crore ($18.3 million).
The transaction is designed to bolster the Hyderabad-headquartered company's precision engineering capabilities and deepen its presence in the European defense and aerospace supply chain.
Bromford brings established long-term contracts to the table, specifically for the manufacture of critical components such as engine lock plates.
For Sigma, the acquisition provides immediate access to these recurring revenue streams and integrates Bromford's specialized manufacturing expertise into its existing portfolio.
The move aligns with a broader trend among Indian aerospace firms seeking to consolidate global market share through targeted M&A activity.
The deal underscores the growing role of Indian engineering houses in the global aerospace sector, where demand for precision components remains robust.
