Skyroot Aerospace has confirmed that its Vikram-1 rocket will attempt its maiden orbital flight on July 18 from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota.
The launch, scheduled from the First Launch Pad, carries four technology payloads and represents the first time a privately developed Indian rocket will attempt to reach orbit.
