INALSA Home Appliances, the Indian subsidiary of Spain's Taurus Group, is committing ₹50 crore to expand its manufacturing facility in Sonipat, Haryana.

The investment marks a strategic pivot back to local production after a 20-year hiatus, aiming to scale monthly output from 100,000 to 400,000 units.

This move aligns with a broader trend of European industrial capital expanding into India, following recent announcements such as Submer Group’s $2 billion semiconductor investment in Madhya Pradesh.

The company has set a revenue target of ₹500 crore for the Indian market, driven by a focus on premium kitchen appliances such as air fryers and stand mixers, alongside app-connected devices.

Jitendra Chauhan, CEO of INALSA Home Appliances, emphasized that localization and digital commerce are central to the growth strategy.

The expansion signals confidence in India’s growing middle class and demand for premium home goods, despite competitive pressures in the consumer electronics sector.
