Ten individuals, including two women, were arrested by Sri Lankan police during a raid on a hotel in Madawala, resulting in the seizure of 3.93 kilograms of gold and approximately Rs. 16.9 million in cash.
The operation, conducted by the Wattegama Police, highlights ongoing enforcement efforts against suspected illicit bullion and currency movements in the country.
