Starlux Airlines has upgraded its Taipei-Phoenix service to its Airbus A350-1000 fleet, marking a significant capacity expansion on the transpacific route.
The carrier’s livery aircraft, the 'Airsorayama Silver' (B-58553), made its inaugural flight to Phoenix on July 14, signaling the start of the enhanced service.
The airline confirmed that the route is now fully operated by the A350-1000, replacing previous narrow-body or smaller wide-body configurations to meet growing passenger demand.
In addition to the aircraft upgrade, Starlux announced a schedule increase for the upcoming winter travel season.
Starting December 7 and running through January 25 next year, the airline will add one weekly flight, bringing the total frequency to five departures per week.
This expansion aims to capture higher leisure and visitation traffic during the peak holiday period.
