The Swiss economy showed renewed momentum in July as the KOF business climate index climbed 1.4 points to 103.5, according to data released by the KOF Swiss Economic Institute on Thursday.
The increase marks a second straight month of improvement, reinforcing a positive trend that began when the index first breached the critical 100-point threshold in June.
The broad-based recovery was underpinned by stronger sentiment in the industrial sector, which has been a key driver of the recent upturn.
The construction industry and financial services also posted gains, helping to lift the overall composite figure.
Meanwhile, external demand and domestic consumption remained stable, providing a steady foundation for the improved outlook.
This development aligns with broader market optimism in Switzerland.
