The ambitious plan aims to modernize key aviation hubs across the island, addressing capacity constraints and improving connectivity for both domestic and international travelers.
The investment package includes a new terminal for Kaohsiung International Airport, a critical gateway for southern Taiwan and a major hub for cargo and passenger traffic.
Additionally, the plan calls for significant renovations to airports on Lanyu and Green Island, as well as a terminal expansion at Beigan Airport in the northern outlying islands.
