Temple, the wearable health-tech startup founded by Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal, is preparing to raise its next round of funding at a valuation of approximately $500 million.
The company is simultaneously finalizing pricing for its debut product, a health-focused wearable device expected to retail between Rs 75,000 and Rs 80,000.
The proposed $500 million valuation represents a significant jump from the $190 million mark Temple achieved in February.
This pricing strategy positions the device squarely in the premium segment, targeting affluent consumers willing to pay for advanced health monitoring features.
The proposed $500 million valuation represents a significant jump from the $190 million mark Temple achieved in February.
That earlier round was led by Peak XV Partners, with participation from Steadview Capital and Dharana Capital.
The rapid re-rating suggests investors are placing a high premium on the company’s brand equity, derived largely from Goyal’s public profile, and its early traction in the competitive Indian wearable market.
