Togo is set to raise CFA20 billion ($33 million) through a Treasury bond sale on the West African Monetary Union's government securities market on Friday, July 24.
The issuance will comprise three- and five-year maturities, marking the country's second debt offering in less than two weeks.
This follows a successful tender on July 10, where Togo raised CFA26.5 billion ($42 million) on the same regional platform.
That earlier issuance exceeded the government's initial target, signaling robust demand from institutional investors within the WAEMU bloc.
The rapid succession of auctions suggests the government is actively managing its liquidity needs and debt maturity profile ahead of the end of the fiscal year.
The West African Monetary Union market remains a critical funding source for member states, offering access to regional capital at competitive rates compared to international markets.
