TruAlt Bioenergy Limited reported a dramatic turnaround in its first-quarter fiscal 2027 results, with profit after tax soaring to ₹59.27 crore.
The figure represents a more than 12-fold increase from the ₹4.73 crore net profit recorded in the same period last year, signaling a significant operational improvement for the ethanol producer.
The surge in profitability was driven by a near-doubling of top-line revenue.
The company posted quarterly revenues of ₹641.41 crore, up 96% from ₹326.63 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
This revenue expansion underscores the strength of demand in India's ethanol blending sector, where TruAlt holds the largest installed capacity.
The results align with a broader trend of robust earnings growth among Indian energy and power companies.
