Ukrainian forces struck the Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez oil refinery in the Russian city of Perm on July 29, the Ukrainian General Staff confirmed.
A fire was reported on the refinery's grounds following the attack, according to the General Staff.
The strike targets one of Russia's largest oil refineries, owned by Lukoil, and represents a continued escalation in Ukrainian operations against Russian energy infrastructure.
This follows previous attacks on other major Lukoil facilities, including the refinery in Kstovo, which was hit in an overnight drone attack confirmed by the General Staff in recent weeks.
