UNIC Athens has detailed its long-term infrastructure strategy, planning to expand its campus footprint to 150,000 square meters by 2031.

The development marks a significant capital commitment from the country’s first private university, which began operations following the introduction of a new legal framework for non-state higher education institutions in Greece.

The expansion plan underscores the institution's intent to scale its academic and research capabilities substantially over the next five years.

By committing to such a large physical footprint, UNIC Athens is positioning itself as a major player in the domestic education sector, moving beyond initial operational setups to establish a permanent, large-scale campus presence.

This development occurs as Greek equity markets show increased interest in domestic corporate and institutional milestones.

Recent market activity has highlighted a pivot toward local developments, including the initial public offering of the Independent Power Transmission Operator (ADMIE) and dividend announcements from major utilities like Metlen Energy and Viohalco.
