Warburg Pincus has acquired Integrace, a domestic pharmaceutical formulations company in India, for an undisclosed sum.
The transaction adds a specialized player in orthopaedics and gynecology to the private equity firm’s growing healthcare portfolio in the region.
The firm recently agreed to acquire credit bureau CreditorWatch from ATI Global in a $500 million deal, marking its first buyout in Australia.
The deal underscores Warburg Pincus’s continued commitment to the Indian healthcare sector, where it has previously partnered with major entities including Metropolis, Laurus Labs, MedPlus, Meril Life Sciences, and Appasamy Associates.
By targeting niche therapeutic areas, the firm appears to be diversifying its exposure beyond large-cap hospital chains and diagnostic networks.
This acquisition follows a pattern of strategic moves by Warburg Pincus across global markets.
