Fast-moving wildfires in the West Bank and the Jezreel Valley have forced evacuations and caused property damage, with strong winds driving flames into residential neighborhoods on Saturday.

Israel Fire and Rescue Services reported that the blazes burned approximately 10 homes and damaged several vehicles, including a firefighting truck.

Police evacuated residents from the affected areas as the fires spread.

The incidents occurred in Samaria and the Jezreel Valley, adding to a week of heightened instability in the region.

The fires follow reports of violent clashes between extremist Israeli settlers and Palestinian residents in the West Bank on Friday, which resulted in multiple injuries.

Emergency crews are working to contain the blazes, but the strong winds have complicated firefighting efforts.
