Wood & Company has launched a new equity fund that bypasses direct exposure to cryptocurrencies in favor of the underlying technology infrastructure supporting the digital-asset economy.

The Czech asset manager is positioning the vehicle to capture growth in the sector without the volatility associated with holding digital coins like Bitcoin.

The fund targets an annual return of more than 10 percent, according to reports from Hospodarske noviny.

By focusing on equities of companies providing the technological backbone for crypto finance, Wood & Company aims to offer investors a more stable entry point into the industry.

This approach contrasts with the prevailing market sentiment, where direct crypto holdings have faced significant headwinds.

The launch comes as investor interest in the broader cryptocurrency ecosystem shows signs of cooling.
