Zaggle Prepaid Ocean Services Limited has agreed to acquire a 19.90% stake in Unobanc Private Limited for ₹7.96 crore.
The transaction secures Zaggle a foothold in Unobanc, a specialist in cross-border payments and remittances that operates the moneyHOP platform.
The investment signals Zaggle’s intent to broaden its service offering beyond domestic spend management into the international payments corridor.
By taking a significant minority position in a dedicated remittance provider, Zaggle aims to integrate cross-border transaction capabilities directly into its ecosystem, potentially offering its corporate clients more seamless global payment solutions.
This move follows Zaggle’s recent strategic push to expand its product suite through partnerships.
The company recently collaborated with AU Small Finance Bank to launch a co-branded retail credit card available on Visa and RuPay networks, indicating a broader strategy to diversify revenue streams beyond its core prepaid card business.
