Atlas Maritime has taken delivery of the Clean Star, a new pure car and truck carrier (PCTC) capable of burning liquefied natural gas.
The vessel, built at China’s CIMC Raffles shipyard, adds 7,000 car equivalent units (CEUs) to the operator’s growing fleet of modern, dual-fuel capable ships.
The new unit is already secured under a two-year charter agreement at a daily rate of $80,000, according to Handelsavisen’s earlier reporting.
