BPR Bank Rwanda and MTN MoMo Rwanda have launched MoFaya, a new digital solution that combines instant lending with direct savings capabilities.

The platform allows eligible customers to access loans of up to Rwf2 million while saving directly from their Mobile Money wallets, bridging the gap between traditional banking and mobile money ecosystems.

The launch marks a significant step in the digitization of financial services in Rwanda, where mobile money adoption has surged in recent years.

By integrating loan disbursement and savings into a single interface, the partnership aims to enhance financial inclusion and provide users with greater liquidity management tools.

This development follows a broader trend of digital banking innovation in the region.

NCBA Bank Rwanda recently unveiled ConnectPlus, a platform designed to offer faster and safer access to financial services.
