Rutger Arnhult, CEO and major shareholder of Corem Property, has purchased approximately SEK 5 million worth of shares in the company, according to reports from Dagens Industri.

The acquisition comes as the stock has fallen more than 40 percent year-to-date, marking a significant downturn for the property firm.

Arnhult’s investment vehicle, M2 Asset Management, has been steadily increasing its position in Corem.

Earlier this year, the fund bought around 3,300 Class D shares for approximately SEK 740,000, a move that signaled early confidence in the company’s prospects despite broader market headwinds. The latest purchase represents a substantial escalation in that commitment, suggesting Arnhult views the current price level as undervalued.

The buying activity contrasts with the broader sentiment in the Swedish property sector, which has faced pressure from rising interest rates and cooling demand.

While many investors have retreated from real estate equities, Arnhult’s continued accumulation highlights a divergence between insider conviction and market pricing.
