ExxonMobil has dispatched its fifth Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel to its offshore Guyana operations, marking a significant expansion in the region's production capacity.
The company, which operates the Stabroek Block, revealed the deployment of the *Errea Wittu* — meaning "abundance" in the local language — during its second-quarter earnings presentation on Friday.
514 million barrels of oil equivalent per day in the second quarter, a milestone driven largely by the ramp-up in Guyana and continued strength in the Permian Basin.
This addition brings the total number of active FPSOs in the block to five, reinforcing ExxonMobil's strategy to maximize output from one of the world's most prolific oil discoveries.
The move coincides with record-breaking production figures for the energy giant.
