Gateway Mining has commenced a large-scale soil sampling program at its Glenburgh South project in Western Australia's Gascoyne region.
The exploration campaign is designed to identify potential gold mineralization similar to the tier-1 discovery made by neighboring operator Benz Mining.
This marks a significant step in Gateway's strategy to replicate the success of nearby deposits within its own tenure.
The move comes as Gateway continues to advance its broader exploration portfolio in Western Australia.
The company recently expanded the footprint of its Cowza gold discovery, extending the mineralized system by one kilometer to a total strike length of 3.5 kilometers.
Additionally, Gateway has deployed three rigs for a major reverse circulation drilling program at its Yandal gold project, aiming to convert emerging discovery zones into defined resources.
