Gold prices in Pakistan declined by Rs500 per tola on Tuesday, mirroring losses in international benchmarks.

The local market movement reflects sustained pressure on precious metals globally, with domestic rates tracking the broader sell-off in London and New York trading sessions.

The drop continues a steep downward trajectory for gold in Pakistan that has persisted over the past week.

Earlier in the week, prices fell by Rs5,200 per tola on Wednesday, following a sharp decline on Friday when 24-karat gold dropped Rs3,600 to Rs421,836 per tola.

The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association confirmed the rates, highlighting the consistent tracking of international spot prices.

While gold faced selling pressure, silver prices showed modest resilience, increasing by Rs60 to reach Rs6,351 per tola.
