Greek manufacturing activity accelerated sharply in July, with the Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) rising to 54.3.

The reading marks the most robust improvement in operating conditions for the sector since March, according to data reported by Naftemporiki.

The expansion was underpinned by a rise in new orders, alongside faster growth in both production and employment.

International demand conditions also improved, marking the first such uptick in external demand in recent months.

This broad-based strength suggests the Greek industrial sector is gaining momentum beyond domestic drivers.

The data adds to a pattern of stabilizing growth across select European and emerging markets.
