While Brent crude has retreated to pre-conflict levels following the normalization of shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, downstream markets continue to face structural vulnerabilities.
The disconnect suggests that logistical bottlenecks and refining constraints are keeping tight supplies of gasoline and diesel, even as the raw material becomes more accessible.
