A wildfire in western Spain, close to the border with Portugal, has consumed 110 square kilometers of land in just 24 hours, according to local officials.
The fire, which began on Wednesday in the municipality of Fermoselle, has forced evacuations and prompted a significant emergency response as it spreads through the region.
